THE HEART OF THE NORTH SHORE
Steeped in history, Lower Lonsdale abounds with modern amenities. The streets are lined with charming boutiques and specialty food shops, artisan galleries, and a plethora of restaurants, trendy cafes and friendly pubs. Anchoring the vibrant enclave is Lonsdale Quay, where you'll find everything from fresh local produce to imported delicacies, handmade chocolates and fine wines. At the foot of Lonsdale, what was once a shipbuilding site is now a popular waterfront destination featuring a 700-foot long public pier with stunning 360-degree views. This is the place to be on Friday evenings during the summer when the Shipyards Market attracts all ages with great food, local artisans, and live entertainment.
GET AROUND WITH EASE
Moodyville is well serviced by transit. The Seabus ferry terminal and bus loop are only few blocks away at Lonsdale Quay. You'll be downtown Vancouver, connected to the Canada Line, in less than 15 minutes. For cyclists there are dedicated bike routes including Spirit Trail outside your door, making it easy to commute for work and play.
NORTH SHORE SPIRIT TRAIL
Winding along the scenic waterfront, the Spirit Trail is a fully accessible greenway that will ultimately extend from Horseshoe Bay all the way to Deep Cove, providing pedestrians, cyclists, inline skaters and people with wheeled mobility aids access to the entire North Shore. Some sections are in the planning stage, while others are complete and ready to explore. The Moodyville Park section of the Spirit Trail is very nature-oriented and links to the Ravine Connector, a popular pedestrian-only pathway with wooden stairways and a mini suspension bridge.
